LONATI began farming in the 60s on the Group plots of land first assigned to third parties. In 2004 the direct management of the land was integrated with cattle breeding for the production of High Quality milk. From 2004 onwards, other farms of the plain of Brescia were added. In 2012, LONATI GROUP acquired a share in the ALIMVEST GROUP, which through the operating companies located in VALTIDONE (PC), produces and sells top quality charcuterie (coppa, pancetta, bresaola, salami and raw Parma ham).

Today the Group activity in the agriculture and food sector is developed on a total of over 200 hectares of cultivated land and more than 1,000 cows that produce more than 4,300,000 kg/year of milk. The affiliated companies have an annual turnover of about 60 million Euro. Each production area, from milk to charcuterie and dairy products, has achieved absolute record results in their own field of specialization.
